Drug and alcohol misuse or a substance use disorder (SUD) can disturb and uproot your life. It can impact your physical health, psychological well-being, relationships, studies, career, and other aspects of your life. While this may seem dire, SUD is not the end of everything. There is life beyond SUD; there is hope in your recovery and sobriety.

Recovery and sober living can feel like an uphill task, but with rehabilitation (rehab), a sober tomorrow is within your reach. At Serenity Springs Recovery, we understand how challenging it can be for you to reach out. However, know that SUDs are very common, and there is strength in truth and wanting to get better.

Serenity Springs offers you comprehensive, personalized rehab programs. Our experts are licensed and skilled, providing you with a safe, conducive environment where you can open up regarding your struggles and heal. We also connect you with others who have had similar experiences so that you do not feel alone in your journey. We are committed to your recovery and your journey beyond.

What Do We Understand By Drug And Alcohol Rehabilitation?

Drug and alcohol rehab can seem very complicated to understand, but it is very simple. It is a comprehensive program that enables you to identify and change the underlying reasons leading to SUDs. Moreover, SUDs often tend to co-occur with mental health conditions, so rehab programs are designed to treat these conditions as well.

There are two types of drug and alcohol rehab programs: residential rehab and outpatient rehab. Residential rehab is where you are required to stay at the rehab facility, and you may also require 24/7 medical and psychiatric supervision. Generally, residential rehab is meant for more severe cases of SUDs. Meanwhile, outpatient rehab offers intensive yet flexible rehab programs. They are intended to treat mild to moderate SUDs, where you have a relative level of stability during your rehab.

Serenity Springs offers premier outpatient rehab programs. We offer partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) that are intensive and flexible in that you attend scheduled visits where you receive treatment. Post-treatment, you can go to your home/sober living residence and also fulfill your day-to-day commitments.

Why Do I Need Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation?

Drug and alcohol rehabilitation provides you with structured treatment and support you need for recovery and sobriety. SUDs can be a struggle to overcome on your own, and there is also the risk of relapse. So, professional help goes a long way in achieving lasting recovery.

A comprehensive outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation provides structure and support if you are struggling with mild to moderate SUDs or if you are transitioning from more intensive levels of care. It goes beyond managing your symptoms and equips you with the tools and skills to identify and change the underlying reasons for substance use. It offers recovery skills training, peer empowerment programs, and aftercare for lasting recovery.

What Levels Of Care Are Available With Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation?

At Serenity Springs, we offer the following outpatient levels of care:

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) – You receive several hours of treatment during the day while you can go home or a sober living residence at night. Typically, a PHP can run up to 8 hours per day and for 5 days every week.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – IOP is similar to PHP in the type of treatments provided. However, it runs up to 9 hours per week and anywhere between 3 – 5 days a week. Evening IOPs or evening tracks are available. They are specifically designed for school/college-going students and working professionals. With evening tracks, you can fulfill your daily commitments while also receiving treatment without having to juggle between the two.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment – Typically, a SUD tends to co-occur with a mental health condition, like anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and so on. When both conditions are treated together, it is known as dual diagnosis treatment.

Ongoing Care and Aftercare – Recovery is not a one-stop destination; it is a journey. Your journey will involve long-term planning focusing on ongoing care and aftercare programs.
